Support Horn Elementary School on Wednesday, December 21 by ordering dinner from Hudson's Tap! Horn will receive 15% of all carry-out and in person orders from 4pm-9pm.
Bingo for Books - Thursday, 1/26
The PTO is holding a Bingo for Books event at school for the Horn community on Thursday, 1/26 from 5:30-7:30. Come by anytime to play some Bingo and win books as prizes.
Gently used graphic novels and chapter books for 4th through 6th graders are most needed. A book donation box is located in the main entrance of the school.
Horn Family STEM Night - Thursday, 2/16
Horn is hosting our first every STEM Night! Families are invited to attend with their students. If you work in a STEM field and are interested in hosting an interactive activity or display, please contact Sarah @ farnsworth.sarah@iowacityschools.org.

PTO meetings are held on the third Tuesday of each month in the Horn Library and on Zoom from 7:00-8:00pm. Future dates include Jan. 17, Feb. 21, Mar. 21, Apr. 18, and May 16.

HyVee Cash 4 Students
Keep submitting your HyVee receipts of any amount dated between September 1, 2022 - March 31, 2023. For every $200 purchased at the grocery, wine/spirits, catering, deli, gas, etc., HyVee will donate $1 to Horn.
Electronic receipts can be forwarded to hornpto.iowacity@gmail.com. Please include the total as the subject line to simplify processing. A box is available in the school office for paper receipts.
