NEW HyVee Cash 4 Students Fundraiser
HyVee has started a new school fundraiser and we're excited to partner with them! Submit receipts of any amount dated between September 1, 2022 - March 31, 2023.
Electronic receipts can be forwarded to hornpto.iowacity@gmail.com. Please include the total as the subject line to simplify processing. A box is available in the school office for paper receipts.
For every $200 purchased at the grocery, wine/spirits, catering, deli, gas, etc., HyVee will donate $1 to Horn.
Staff Conference Meals - November 9th, 17th, & 18th
A few items are still needed for dinner on Thursday, November 17th and lunch on November 18th. Can you provide soup for 10-15 people or a veggie tray? sign-up
Monetary donations are needed to cover the cost of the sandwiches being ordered for Friday's lunch. Monetary donations can be made using this link for PayPal or drop of a check (made out to Horn PTO) or cash in the office labeled conference meals. If there are donations in excess to what is needed for conference meals will be used for future staff appreciation and PTO expenses.
Yearbook Orders
Work has begun on the 2022-2023 Horn Yearbook. Your child brought home an order form to pre-order this year's yearbook. The cost is $12. In order to include pictures from the entire school year, yearbooks will be published and distributed next August. If you're moving, you can pick up at Horn or we'll get your address and ensure you receive.
If you missed ordering a yearbook for the 2021-2022 school year, a few are available to purchase in the school office!
Horn Sticker Decals Available
Want to show your school spirit while driving around town or on your water bottle, etc.? Stop by the school office to purchase a sticker decal of Hemi the Hornet for $3 or 2 for $5.
Football Parking
Each Saturday home game, cars park in the school parking lot and playground blacktop off Benton for $15. Bring your kids and they can play on the playground or set up a lemonade stand!
Football parking is the easiest and most successful Horn fundraiser. Thank you to everyone who has already helped this fall. We have already raised more than $7000. Sign-up here for one of the upcoming games. We'll be in touch once kickoff time is set for each game.

Parent Teacher Organization

PTO meetings are held on the third Tuesday of each month in the Horn Library and on Zoom from 7:00-8:00pm. Future dates include Nov. 15, Dec. 20, Jan. 17, Feb. 21, Mar. 21, Apr. 18, and May 16.
