Scholastic Book Fair & Bake Sale - November 28-December 2
The Scholastic Book Fair is a great way to explore the world of books with your kids, grandkids, and friends while supporting Horn Elementary. Anyone is welcome to visit the in-person or online book fair to purchase books as gifts, for their homes or for their children's classrooms. Teachers will have classroom wish lists available during book fair shopping hours.
Tuesday's book fair hours will include a bake sale. Donations of store bought or homemade goodies are needed. A few volunteers are also needed to help run the book fair. Consider signing up to help.
Shopping Hours:
Monday 3:00 – 5:30 pm
Tuesday 3:00-6:30 pm
Wednesday 7:30 - 8:30am, 3:00 – 5:30 pm
Thursday 2:00 – 3:30 pm
Friday 3:00 – 5:30 pm
Online sales will be open from November 28th - December 11th
Football Parking
We need a handful of volunteers to finish out the Hawkeye football parking fundraiser. This fall, we have raised nearly $10,000 to support Horn school through football parking. Sign-up here for the final game of the season on 11/25.

HyVee Cash 4 Students Fundraiser
HyVee has a new school fundraiser! Submit receipts of any amount dated between September 1, 2022 - March 31, 2023.
Electronic receipts can be forwarded to hornpto.iowacity@gmail.com. Please include the total as the subject line to simplify processing. A box is available in the school office for paper receipts.
For every $200 purchased at the grocery, wine/spirits, catering, deli, gas, etc., HyVee will donate $1 to Horn.
Parent Teacher Organization

PTO meetings are held on the third Tuesday of each month in the Horn Library and on Zoom from 7:00-8:00pm. Future dates include Dec. 20, Jan. 17, Feb. 21, Mar. 21, Apr. 18, and May 16.
