Staff Appreciation Week - May 2-6
Did you know that more than 70 people work at Horn and with our Horn Hornets? We want to tell them all THANK YOU during staff appreciation week. A schedule and sign-ups will be coming out next week! More details to come! Families are invited to show their appreciation for our staff and teachers throughout the week with notes, drawings, high-fives, and thank yous!

Horn Book Fair - May 9-13
The Scholastic Book Fair is back and in person this year. A volunteer sign-up will go out next week as well as book fair hours for families to stop by and shop.
End of Year Celebration - Friday, May 13th from 5:30-7:30
We can't wait for you to join us as we celebrate the end of the 2021-2022 school year! We'll gather on the school playgrounds. Bouncy houses and Kona Ice available to all! There will also be food trucks for families to purchase dinner if they would like. You're welcome to bring a picnic of your own. Have a yard game you'd like to bring? Email hornpto.iowacity@gmail.com

Horn School makes snacks available to all students and the snack supply is running low. If you are able to donate snacks, it would be greatly appreciated. Snacks can be ordered from Amazon and shipped directly to the school or purchased locally and dropped off. Check out the picture and links below for ideas. It is important that snacks are not manufactured with nuts and are free of gelatin. The following are great snacks we can serve. Large bags or individually packaged are both welcome.
