Kids Kreations
Our Kids Kreations store is open! You can have your child's artwork turned into a variety items to enjoy around your home or give as a gift. Visit www.kidskreations.us to see all of the options. This year, you will need to upload your student's artwork or choose a favorite family photo if you want to place an order. Have items shipped directly to you. This is a school fundraiser but please don't feel obligated to order. Email hornpto.iowacity@gmail.com with any questions.
Steps to order:
1. Use a camera or scanner to make a digital file of artwork (Helpful Hints: go outside, place art flat on the ground with no direct sunlight and no shadows, stand over art, take photo, crop art)
2. Go to www.KidsKreations.us
3. Click "Upload Artwork" (green button at top)
4. Choose art to upload
5. Rotate art if needed
6. Fill in Artist Name, Teacher and Grade
7. View products with your art
8. Add products to your cart
9. Click on "Cart" to check out
10. Click on "yes, find my organization"
11. Type "Horn Elementary School" in search field
12. Click "Okay" (blue button)
13. Choose "Direct Shipping"
14. Submit payment
Yearbook Photos Needed
It's not too late to submit pictures for the yearbooks! If you were unable to get a school picture taken at Horn, please submit your own "school picture" for the yearbook! SUBMIT YOUR PHOTOS HERE or email hornpto.iowacity@gmail.com with the student's name and grade.
We also need snapshots from the year! Send us your pictures of students...
-doing virtual learning
-heading off to school
-playing their instruments
-creating art
-playing sports
-participating in clubs or organizations
-doing community service
-completed art project or poem
Photo requirements:
-Photos need to be from this school year or past summer
-Photos should be high resolution JPEGs
-Include the names of all students pictured
-Provide a description of the activity seen in the photograph (if you'd like)
We would like to include as many photos as possible, but submitting extra photos does not guarantee your photo will run in the yearbook due to space limitations.
McTeacher's Drive-Thur Night - Tuesday, June 2nd from 5:00-7:00
Swing by McDonald's (2440 Mormon Trek Blvd) for dinner or a treat, say hi to some Horn teachers and give a shout out to Hemi the Hornet! Horn will receive 15% of ALL drive-thru sales
Bonus: The grade level with the most attendees will be given $100 extra just for their classrooms. Be sure to tell the Horn teacher at the drive-thru what grade you are in to count towards the bonus! In-person and online students will count toward the total!
