Conference time is always a special treat for teachers because they get to see all of their families and enjoy yummy meals provided by the PTO. Do to COVID, we can't do either.
This year, we encourage parents and students to email their teachers or post on Seesaw! Tell them what you appreciate about them, have your student draw a picture or write an email, leave a video or voice message on Seesaw! Let's tell our Horn teachers and staff how much we appreciate their hard work this fall.

Please joins us next Wednesday for our Parent Teacher Organization meeting. The PTO is made up of ALL parents and guardians of students attending Horn School and school staff members. Just like everything else, PTO will look a little different this year, but still plan to support Horn Elementary School in many ways! Spirit Wear Pick-Up

Horn Cookbook
This spring, we will publish a Horn Elementary Cookbook that is filled with favorite recipes, stories, and artwork. Start thinking about a recipe your family would like to share with our Horn Family! Recipe submissions will start this month.
2019-2020 Yearbooks
It's not too late to get a yearbook. Email lisa.pauley@iowacityschools.org. Yearbooks must be paid for prior to picking them up. They cost $10 each.
Winter Clothing
If your family needs assistance getting winter items for your Horn student and would like to see if we have items available in their size, please contact Megan Recker, the Student and Family Advocate.
