School Carnival - Saturday, March 7th from 3:00-6:30
ALL HORN STUDENTS RECEIVED 10 FREE CARNIVAL TICKETS!  Tickets can be used to play games, enter raffles, and purchase food.  Tickets will also be available to purchase on the day of the Carnival.  Travel throughout the school playing games and earning star tickets.  Star tickets can be used to purchase Carnival prizes in the library.  Stop by the lunch room to visit the Silent Auction, Raffles and Cafe.  This year's cafe will be serving beef and turkey hot dogs for dinner!

The Hornet Cafe needs donations of cookies, store bought treats, juice boxes, and apple sauce cups: Donate here!

Families are invited to help run a game!  Sign-ups are organized by grade level: Kindergarten     1st Grade     2nd Grade     3rd Grade     4th Grade     5th Grade     6th Grade

Horn Science Fair - Friday, April 3rd
All 1st-6th graders are invited to participate!  Each student must register a parent-approved project (even if working with a partner) by Tuesday, March 24th.  Participants must prepare a poster board to display.  Poster boards are available in the school office to students who are registered for the science fair.

Project types might be any of the following:

Problem Solving Experiment – pose a question, then perform an experiment to try and find an answer.
Demonstration – use models, diagrams, experiments, etc. to demonstrate a concept or explain how something works.
Research a topic – explore an area of interest and share finding through a model, report, poster, demonstration, or anything else to communicate understanding.
Collection – share a collection of rocks, shells, insects, flowers, etc. and provide information about the topic.

Parent Teacher Organization - Tuesday, 3/10 from 6:30-7:30
