Conference Meals - 2/27 & 3/2
Each spring, families at Horn provide meals for the school staff during Parent Teacher Conferences. Volunteers are needed to to donate food and items as well as help with set-up and clean-up for our upcoming meals. Please take a look and sign-up here if you are able to bring something.
School Carnival - Saturday, March 7th from 3:00-6:30
Save the date for the annual School Carnival! Carnival packets came home this week and ticket orders are due March 3rd.
Families are invited to help fun a game! Sign-ups are organized by grade level: Kindergarten 1st Grade 2nd Grade 3rd Grade 4th Grade 5th Grade 6th Grade
High School volunteers can also sign-up to run games!
Volunteers are also needed to set-up & clean-up games, work in the prize room, and serve food in the Hornet Cafe. Email or text Laura Lbroffitt@yahoo.com / 319-541-8862
Carnival Prize Room
We are collecting trinkets, stickers, pencils, balloons, and small toys for the Carnival Prize Room. Check your junk drawers and toy boxes for small treasures to contribute. You can drop items off in the school office. If you would like to help coordinate the prize room please contact Betty at beatannous@gmail.com.
Donations Needed: Full Size Candy Bar and Books
This year's carnival will feature a Candy Bar Walk and a Book Walk! These games are similar to musical chairs. We are also collecting gently used books and full size candy bars as prizes for these games. You can drop items off in the school office.
Carnival Silent Auction and Raffles
This year's cake decorating theme is CELEBRATE - HORN IS 50! Sign-up to donate a cake for the Silent Auction! If your family or your place of work would like to put together a basket (big or small) or donate a gift card or item for the silent auction and raffles, please contact Sara at sara.a.osullivan@gmail.com.
Hornet Cafe and Family Meal
