Bake Sale - Monday, February 3rd
We will hold a bake sale during the Iowa Caucus at Horn Elementary. Caucus organizers are expecting close to 300 people so this is a great fundraising opportunity! Donations of store bought or homemade cookies, brownies, bars, and other single-serve goodies as well as drinks are needed. Sign-up here! Donations can be dropped off at school on Monday. School Carnival - Saturday, March 7th from 3:00-6:30
Save the date for the annual School Carnival! This year's carnival will include a meal as well as baked goods at the Hornet Cafe. We're also introducing a couple of new activities including a Book Walk to go along with the Candy Bar Walk. The Cake Decorating Contest will be a part of the Silent Auction and Raffles again this year. We are collecting trinkets, stickers, pencils, balloons, and small toys for the Carnival Prize Room. Check your junk drawers and toy boxes for small treasures to contribute. We are also collecting gently used books for a new Book Walk Game to go along with the Candy Bar Walk. You can drop items off in the school office starting Monday, February 3rd.
PTO - Tuesday, February 4th from 6:30-7:30
Please plan to join us for our February PTO meeting in the school library. We welcome all parents and guardians to attend and would love to hear your feedback and ideas.
