Thank you to everyone who has donated to our drive! We have raised $1015! The Spring Fund Drive will continue until April 19th, so there is still time to help us reach our goal of $3000.
The money raised provides support to all the Horn teachers: including classroom, ELL, behavior focus, modified classrooms, resource, reading recovery, ELP, counselor, IDS, art, orchestra, band, and title 1 reading teachers.

Join the fun at next week's Workout Wednesday. Head to the gym at 7:15am and meet up with Mr. Hildebrand and others to get the day started right! The last two workout sessions will be on 4/17 and 4/24.
Have you considered getting more involved at Horn next year? Horn 6th Grade Party
To the 6th grade parents: Look for additional information in your child's Friday folder this week regarding the 6th grade party. Please turn in the party response form by April 18th.

Baby Pictures
Don't forget to provide a baby picture to Mrs. Green! Email digital copies to green.mary@iowacityschools.org or send original pictures to Mrs. Green to be scanned and returned.
Donations
Please check out the 6th Grade Party sign up for a list of needed items. If you'd like to make a monetary contribution, you can send a check made out to Horn PTO (subject line: 6th Grade Party) or use the PayPal link for an online donation.
Sign ups and contributions are due Thursday, April 18th!
T-Shirts
We plan to have t-shirts made for each student. Please make sure to turn in the form sent home indicating your child's size. The recommended contribution is $10 but it is not required for your child to receive a shirt.
The order form is due Thursday, April 18th to guarantee sizing!
Party Details
Students and parents/guardians should arrive at 5:40pm. At this time, parents can have a look around and take pictures. There will be a class picture taken at 6pm, after which the adults will leave (unless they chaperoning) and the party will begin.
Please note: Students will be required to check in and out at the table near the front door. Parents/guardians will be responsible for signing their students out at the end of the night.
