Horn Carnival
The Horn Carnival is on Saturday, March 2 from 2 - 5:30. Each student was given 10 free tickets that can be used to play games, buy a cookie at the Hornet Cafe, and enter a raffle. Carnival tickets may also be purchased ahead of time or the day of the event. The Carnival is one of our biggest school events and the money raised at the carnival supports the free community building events we're able to do at school.PTO Meeting
Our next PTO meetingis on Tuesday, March 5 at 6:30 pm in the Horn Library. Principal Cannon will provide information about the upcoming Iowa Assessments that will take place in early April. The 2ndgrade teachers and ELP teachers will share what is happening in their classes, along with updates from Ms. Recker who is our Horn Student and Family Advocate. The monthly District Parent Organization meeting will be held at Horn on Wednesday, March 13 from 11:30 am - 1pm. This is a great opportunity to hear updates from the School Board, the Foundation, and district administrators. Lunch is provided.Horn Yearbooks
It’s time to order your 2018-19 Horn yearbook!
Order forms will be sent home in this week’s Friday folder. Each yearbook cost $10 and can be paid for with cash or a check made out to Horn PTO. Please return the order form to your child’s teacher or the front office by March 15.
