PTO Meeting and Carnival Planning Meeting

On Tuesday, January 8, the 4th grade teachers and the band and orchestra directors came to our PTO meeting to discuss what has been happening in their classes. If you were unable to attend, minutes of the meeting will be posted on the PTO page of the Horn Elementary Website.

Immediately following the PTO meeting, we began to plan the school carnival which will be held Saturday, March 2. If anyone is interested in helping, please click on the following link to sign-up.

Mini Dance Marathon

The Mini Dance Marathon is an annual community event at Horn School. This is free and open to all families to come dance in the gym. This year's event will be held on Thursday, January 17 from 6-7:30pm.
The theme for the event is "Get In Shape!" so students are encouraged to come dressed in exercise gear...or wearing geometric shapes! Pizza dinners will be sold during this time, $3.00 for one slice, cookie and bottle of water and $5.00 for two slices, cookie and bottle of water. Snow cones from Kona Ice will also be sold. A free-will donation table will also be set up; Cash and credit cards are accepted for all.

We are seeking volunteers to help serve the pizza and to donate cookies. If you're interested, please sign up with the link below.
