Track Club will start Wednesday, September 19th from 6:00-7:00 on the Horn back playground. Track club will also be held from 6:00-7:00 on September 26th and from 5:30-6:30 on October 3rd and 10th.
Dine Out for Education is Thursday, September 27th. Click here for a list of participating restaurants.
The Horn Family Picnic is on Friday, September 28th from 5:45-8:00 on the back playground.
Run for the Schools will be on Sunday, October 14th.
Halloween Costume Collection and Giveaway
PTO is collecting new and gently used Halloween costumes starting September 17 through October 19. Costumes must be school appropriate: no weapons! If possible, please put each costume in a in a separate bag, clearly marked with the size/age and a descripton on the outside of the bag. Place donations in the drop box in the office. PTO will give away collected costumes to Horn students in the school front entrance hallway on the following dates:
Monday, Oct. 22 from 3:00-4:00
Wednesday, Oct. 24 from 4:00-5:30
Friday, Oct. 26 from 4:00-5:35

Volunteers Needed
Track Club - We are looking for parent volunteers to help with Track Club on 9/19, 9/26, 10/3, and 10/10.
STEM Activity - The Iowa Children's Museum is providing a STEM activity for all students on Tuesday, September 25th from 11:00-1:00. We need a few volunteers to come help the students build things with cardboard and tape.
Football Parking - If you are able to help out with parking for any of the weekends that Iowa has a home football game, please consider signing up. Football Parking is one of PTO's most successful and EASIEST fundraisers.
